Hi there fellow homeslices!

My name is Johan. I live in a small coastal city in Sweden.
The main things I spend my days with is producing music and listening to music.

I started to make my own music sometime in 2005. Used eJay Dance 6 back then.
Discovered FL Studio in 2008 or 2009 ish and still a massive fan of that DAW.
I have tried Ableton Live and Reason but the workflow in FL Studio suits me better, I think.

I learned how to make my own music by watching Dave's tutorials. The 7 day song ones have been especially useful.
Boyinaband is one of my biggest inspirations. The other must be deadmau5.

Right now I have two projects I'm producing music for which are:
- My solo alias Jean Bloc - Where I try to focus on House, Techno and various kinds of Bass Music. Heavily influenced by the UK music styles and artists.

- The DJ/producer duo I have with a good friend - Focusing more on Electro House, Breaks, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and Glitch Hop. The more uplifting kind of music.

That's about it really. Might also mention that I like anything related to Japan. Be it anime, cosplay, manga or music.
I will probably hang around in the music related sections of this forum mostly, willing to help you fellow homeslices with advice and motivation.
Thanks for now and talk soon !

It might work, with the right kind of promotion and networking.
I'm not Max Martin or anything though Wink
But eventually...

Yeah, Dave is really good at explaining stuff in a simple and understandable way.
Must be something to do with the cold winter seasons we have up here.
Just staying in and improve on them music production skills.

I'm almost into everything. I give everything a shot and if I like it I'll listen to it more often. Mostly I listen to pop, rock, classical, dubstep, electro and metal music and I write in the genres of Inspirational pop and sometimes (electro?) pop/rock.
