Okey so I have no idea of what DAW to choose/upgrade too. I use Ableton Live Lite 8 at the moment because I got it with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 when I bought that and now I need something more that can help me to put my music on the market.

So mostly what I'm concerned about is the price of the different DAW's out there when stepping up the music-making game. Basketball

Some I am thinking about buying are; scratch
Ableton Live 9 Suit        (772 USD)
FL STUDIO 11               (350 USD)
AVID PRO TOOLS 11      (843 USD)
Steinberg Cubase 7.5     (645 USD)

For people who have used these DAW's which would be best suited for my kind of music? (Maybe that question was toooo hard so lets just give me some feedback whatever you think) scratch

I know that in the end it comes down to personal preference but I want to know what you all think. study

For the stuff you want to do, any of the above could work with the right VSTs.

I scanned through your stuff a bit and essentially all you need is better samples/instrument emulation.

It's really just down to workflow.

if you are working with samples, I'd go for something like pro tools or logic. I've never used ableton, but I think itd be better for you to use something that can trigger good quality samples and get good results quickly
