Everyone's doing it sooo...Hey my name is Diogo, im 15 and from Portugal.
I produce music for maybe 1 year and i learn new things everyday just by experimenting!

Im having a video/audio course in my school, i edit videos for one of my friends's youtube channel and sometimes videos from my broters' channel. i also edit and make vfx for school projects with a talented friend of mine.
when i need i work in adobe illustrator and photoshop and 3d software, and i love to photoshop stupid stuff and faceswapping and putting snoop dogg in the background :3
i also like to record and process foleys or samples to make weird or cinematic effects.

i love electronic music. from speedcore to chill downtempo, from music like múm and boards of canada to riddim and wonky dubstep, to breakcore/dark wave like venetian snares to deep house . i just love all types of electronic music and some non-electronic.

i dont have a fixed genre to produce because my tastes variate by my mood and what type of songs i've listened to recently. for example i heard a mix from cashmere cat and some songs that have the same feel as cashmere cat/alex young so now i create new trap/jersey club projects and try to make a song.
i (try to) produce from 60BPM neuro cowbell trap to cowbell on acid, dubstep, riddim, deathstep, heavy dubstep, trap, house, jersey club, breakcore, IDM, electro house, chill music like tennyson, trap, music like cashmere cat, music like boards of canada, hardstyle... but i never finish my projects..

my problems are that i cant find an alias due to not having a fixed genre, and i havent finished a song yet, i just have projects with some song ideas but when i edit old projects i change the feel that the song idea had and i cant finish it..

sorry for the long text!
I would love to be a part of this growing community and i would love to meet and listen/see other peoples' creations :3

Hello!

Dont force yourself into a genre based name. I produce under my real name. You dont want to pigeon hole yourself into a single genre or else you'll start to hate it, or change it a lot. (good or bad you decide)

I'd say find a genre you are comfortable with and expand on that one. And once you feel comfortable with that, you can move on to other things. Just let the music direct itself, and dont force something anywhere where its not supposed to go Very Happy

you can just choose any name you want to, and have that as your artist name.

like for instance, you could be John Doe.

thanks! Very Happy
