Hello!

I've been following Dave's absolutely awesome 7 Day Progressive House Tutorial and am very much enjoying it. However I've been struggling to understand the structure of the songs and where certain sounds belong in a song. Creatively i am thinking "well anywhere you want, Ian, it's your song pal!" which is fine, but i am still trying to get my head around the difference between a Breakout and Breakdown for example and also how Pads are used in songs? Like in the tutorial, it has a Lead Pad...and A Pad and in trying to do my own sound (only coz i can't replicate how he does it, his awesomeness knows no limits) i am getting confused how they are meant to fit in a song.

Hope my ramblings make sense!
Ian
