Hi there ^.^
So there's not really a science section on the forum and I was just wondering if we could have one (for the geeks :3)
Thanks!

What about making some place for reviews, so everyone can talk how he/she feel about game/book/film/something and rate it from 1 to 10?

In my opinion, those can be threads that are created in their respective areas of discussion. Making a global "review stuff" thread is a bit disorganized given that everyone has interests in different things.

How about adding XMPP to the contact fields on the profile? hopefully I'm not the only one using the protocol here

Hey, my fellow slices!

I have a suggestion regarding the writing section. At the moment, everything is just posted with no real structure and I’d like to change that – similar to the music section. So when you click on „Writing“, you could choose between „Prose“ (stories), „Poetry“ (poems) and something like „Literature talk“ (to share experiences, favorite books or just talk about what’s going on in the writing world in general). And when you click on Prose or Poetry, you then could have the opportunity to choose between „Completed works“ and „Works in progress“, just like in the Music section.

I’m not sure how this works, but I guess someone who knows how to do it will read this sooner or later. So if you could make this possible, it would be awesome! :-)

Thank you and have a great day!

I was just thinking: this site is really good thing, but in order to hold it good we must get there the most people from facebook that we can. Shouldn't we take care of the post in the group so everyone can see this? Or just repeat it in order to show that it's getting better?

As of a little bit now, the domain homeloaf.net is now pointing to these forums. As long as people are made aware of the official site link, the number of registrations should continue to increase. Smile

But yes, spreading the word never hurt anyone!

EDIT: gg me responding to a post made more than a week ago thinking that I was on page 2, wooooooooooooo

I added some subforums to the writing section.

It is available on Forumotion; Administration Panel > Advanced View > Profiles > Contact Fields. But I probably am the only one here using XMPP so may as well not bother XD

It's something that can be added, but there's no graphic available (not that this is hard to fix). Honestly, I think I'm going to change all of the contact medium buttons to their corresponding icons rather than just having those annoying black boxes with the medium on them...

We still have some graphics around the site to change anyway that we never did. So yeah, prob a good idea.
