Artist Seeking Writer for Pokemon Comic

[I am offering art skills, seeking writer. Does this go in art or writing? Hm.]
Hello.

I'd like to start a project with someone to encourage further practice. Right off the bat, I want to say that I'm not even close to at a professional, presentable level. You don't have to be either!
I decided that a great topic to start out with, instead of just saying 'I want to do something, do you want to do something, what do you like' would be Pokemon. So!

I am interested in producing the art for an indefinitely long Pokemon comic (series?). Here is some example doodle/drawings I've done in the last week and photographed with my webcam.

For our project, I'd make sure to go scan in my work in the library, rather than take really bad webcam photos of it. We could discuss whether I should acquire colored pencils to complete pages with, or if I should try to digitally color them.

You might notice there are no backgrounds on any of my examples. That's definitely something I'd like to be working on more. I am currently most interested in trying to draw ancient architecture or castle stonework, but could work with your plot.

Previously, I have done a few pages of comic work. I don't have any uploaded to share, nor in my possession at the moment. They were some 2 page jokes set in the world My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, and another more serious series I was thinking about tackling on my own concerning mechas that were gaining sentience in a futuristic setting. I state this to be able to say that I've got a little experience figuring out paneling.

I have a suggestion for an outline of a Pokemon (Mystery Dungeon style) plot, and some characters to go with it. But since I am seeking a writer, I will be more than happy to take your direction.

So. Who wants to do something?
