Making this so we have a spot where we can talk about our progress. If you want to you can list your starting weight, or you can just note you've lost x lbs/kg since whenever. However you'd like to show your progress. You can do progress photos as well if you'd like.

This doesn't just have to be weight loss, you can use this for any fitness progress. Smile

I finally got a working scale so I can start tracking. Our last one had gotten broken then I bought another that doesn't work and of course can't return now because I threw away the box lol. Ordered one off Amazon and it seems to be pretty accurate. A while back I had managed to lose 20lbs but due to losing my job and everything I gained back. So I only have about 9lbs of that weight loss still going for me. I really need to get serious about this now. I want to lose 40lbs by Christmas which I think is totally reasonable. There's 14 weeks until then which would mean 3lbs per week. I know that's technically a little high since they recommend no more than 2lbs per week, but because I weigh 241 I think I have a little more wiggle room to lose a little higher in the beginning then slow it down.

I don't have a scale and since I can't go back to the gym yet go get my monthly (accurate) measures I'll go after clothes sizes right now. I bought a new pair of jeans last week and I had to get a size smaller than previously. I'm trying to eat right and keep doing what I've set as a goal and hope for some more progress Smile

I've lost a total of 15 lbs during the month of August. I was studying abroad in London for that month, ended up walking a total of 140 miles as well as changing to a healthier diet. I've lost another 4 lbs since then, but probably not due to being active. I've got clinical depression, and it's been worsening for the last 3 weeks or so (I'm contemplating starting a thread on depression in general), though I do plan on starting exercise again as soon as I'm able to.
Keep up the weight loss (or other fitness progress)! I'll join y'all soon enough Smile
